So between us we shot from Thursday to Sunday at the ICTSF World Sporting. Ami and Grandad shot the sporting Thursday and Friday whilst I shot with the England Senior team over the weekend.
There has been alot of social media posts about this competition and whilst I may not agree with some of the decisions made I did enjoy the shoot even though I really didn't do it any justice.
I shot the Sportrap on the Thursday whilst it was a bit on the blustery side, however I did still manage a very respectable 87/100 which after 3 days finished joint first in Juniors with Josh Bridges. A shoot off was arranged on the Saturday evening and i managed to do enough to take the Gold. Ami shot the Sportrap on the Saturday and did a fantastic 71/100 and won Silver in Colts.
The Prelim sporting again was held over the three days and I shot this on the Friday, finishing on 89/100 I was reasonably happy with this however Henry Collins put in an awesome 97... at the end I had won Bronze in Juniors and Bronze in AA.
The main event was shot over Saturday and Sunday and for whatever reason I could not connect with the Targets, on the Red course I shot 74/100 and on the Sunday I shot the Blue doing slightly better with an 80/100 giving me 154/192 not enough to place anywhere this time but we did secure Gold for the Senior England Team.. in fact all of the England teams got Gold so a massive well done Team England..
Change of pace next weekend with a bit of Compak 😊😊
