The British Grand Prix was held at Barbury Shooting School near Swindon last weekend and for a Compak seemed well attended, hopefully the discipline is getting more recognised. It's seen by some as too easy, but you still have to hit them to place and it's not like skeet where all the targets are repeated.
This was held over 2 days where competitors shot 100 targets every day. Taylor and Grandad were on the AM rotation, the weather was a little hit and miss all weekend with some heavy showers. On the Saturday Taylor shot a competitive 95/100 and followed this on the PM rotation with a further 95/100, nice and consistent. This gave Taylor the Silver Medal in Juniors and put him at the top of the Rankings for the GB junior team for the World Championships in France.
